Therapeutic approach

Bella is an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with extensive experience working with both long-term and short-term clients.  She takes an integrative approach, which enables her to adapt and craft her work to each client drawing from a wide range of approaches and wisdom, as well as working with dreams and the creative imagination.  Bella believes each client is different and therefore the approach she uses needs to be just as flexible.

Bella feels deeply that the relationship between herself and her clients is vital to the progress of the work.  She tries to create a warm, safe, compassionate, non-judgemental and respectful therapeutic relationship that can foster healing and growth for her clients.

We all have an innate ability to grow and develop, but sometimes we get overwhelmed and lose connection with our inner resources. Accepting that you need more than family and friends to talk to can often be a liberating first step towards healing.  I try to provide a safe and holding place for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, and deeply believe even the darkest of times can unfold and evolve into a new chapter where you can reconnect and deepen your own potential for wellness.
