Experienced counsellors and psychotherapists

Professional counsellor, psychotherapist and group-work facilitator Lucy Christopher runs two weekly clinics at our City of London offices, in Central Street. She provides expert and completely confidential help, in a calm and empathic environment. Here, you can feel heard, accepted, and safe to explore and resolve whatever issues may be troubling you – from anxiety and depression, to relationship problems, addiction, anger, and more. Lucy offers both highly-focused brief counselling and long-term psychotherapy, as required.

Location

Our City of London clinic is in a discreet 3-storey townhouse used exclusively for counselling and therapy, close to the Old Street /Goswell Road crossroads. The room is cosy but spacious, with comfortable armchairs and a sofa, and plenty of natural light.

Access

The Anchor Counselling room is on the first floor with no disabled access. Ring the client bell (press hard!) and your therapist will meet you at the front door. As there is no receptionist, if you arrive early there are plenty of coffee shops nearby including Timber Yard or, if you prefer (and weather permitting), the gardens of St. Luke’s Church in Old Street.

Transport

45 Central Street is just 7 minutes walk from Old Street station, under 10 minutes from Barbican station, and has excellent links to mainline train stations at Liverpool Street, Euston, Farringdon and Kings Cross St Pancras. Bus routes 55 and 243 stop nearby.

Opening times

Our counsellors are available in the City of London on Mondays and Fridays, at flexible times between 8.30am and 10pm.
